I'm Kelli. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques
that you can use to create a silver and gold holiday look. Now that we've applied our foundation
and our blush, we're going to set everything with a really finely milled translucent finishing
powder. We're going to take our large powder brush. We're just going to dust this all over
her face. This is going to set everything. It's going to blend everything nicely together.
It will minimize pore size. It also will help to soak up any oily shine, so we can ensure
that her makeup will stay on and stay looking fresh throughout the day. Also too, if you
maybe got a little heavy handed with your blush, you can use a little bit of your finishing
powder to kind of soften the look of that. You can insure that when you're doing this,
if you're using a really finely milled powder, you can put as much on as you want and it
won't look heavy or cakey. I also prefer translucent because it won't interfere with the color
at all. That's how you will want to set your foundation with a finishing powder.
