Happy Feet
Our mission as Lions is to aid and assist the sight
and hearing impaired, and that was a mission that was handed
to us by Helen Keller and so, of course, it's a natural tie
with Gallaudet University and the Lions.
We're off to Vermont, yeah!

Look, we made the front page.
Open My Heart
Stronger
Hi. We have to go perform soon.
Oye Mi Canto
I was really amazed as I watched them dance.
I felt this connection!
The dancing is beautiful.
It was so pretty and there was such a spirit.
I felt like that's my world and its right here in this town!
I was so impressed that all the dancers were deaf.
And, I was impressed by the fact
that the music was so loud that I could feel it!
I came out of curiosity --
the Gallaudet Dance Company was coming.
I thought that was cool; I had to check it out.
I thought it was so neat -- they're awesome!
It makes me want to dance!
I'm just inspired by them as dancers and, also,
that they're deaf and bringing it to us.
We don't get a lot of really amazing performances here,
and so it is really exciting!
I would like to thank the Gallaudet Dance Company
for taking the word "can't" out of my vocabulary at a young age.
When I saw something that I thought was impossible...
that is one of the biggest factors in taking that word
out of my vocabulary in my life.
Grateful
We were so excited to see a limo from the Lions Club.
It's so nice of them to provide it,
and it's so exciting to be in a limo!
We are thrilled!
On behalf of all of us, we really appreciate everything
that you have done for us.
All the thoughts and planning
that went into having this event -
we know it is a lot of work with you and Sue.
We really appreciate your hard work in bringing us here and,
in return, we want to give you the best show possible!
They made us feel like queens!
They told us that they are so blessed to have us here
but, to me, they have shown how much
they appreciate us coming here to perform.
In return, they have given us everything
we need to be comfortable here.
They have done a lot.
I never thought we would have a trip to Vermont.
I just thought we would stay on campus.
Then, we were told we'd travel, too.
I was impressed with what the Lions Club did to welcome us.
In this experience we really had fun,
along with the typical stress and confusion of performing.
Entering...
Smelling...
Whoa...
Delicious!
Thank you!
