Hello, my name is Hector Inga, owner of Lane Four Swim Shop. And I wanted to talk to you
a little bit about Olympic swimming goggles. Olympic swimming goggles are just another
name for a highly competitive style of goggles. Once again, very streamline, very small, very
close to the face. Once again, it's a preference, as you saw at the Olympic games many of the
swimmer wore several different styles of goggles, among some of them the Swedish style goggles.
This is a goggle that is just a very close to the eye goggle, a hard plastic, no gasket.
Also Michael Phelps wore the Speed Socket by Speedo, and a lot of the other swimmers
also wore the Speedo Vanquishers. Probably these three were the most popular goggles
seen at the Olympic games, and many metals were won with these goggles. These two are
anti-fog, the Swedish goggle is actually a very basic goggle, even though it's wore by
a lot of high end swimmers, because they are very small and they fit real tight to the
face. However, they're not anti-fog, they're very inexpensive goggle compared to some of
the others. However, they're very fast, it's just preferred by many, many high end athletes.
