So you've packed your bags you're off to uni! Hang on... Where are you going to live?
Well there are LOTS of options. And no matter where you choose to live, we'll be there to
help You might want to consider living on-campus.
This is a great way to get to know people, build a support network and have a whooole
lotta FUN, no matter your age! But most importantly, you can just roll out
of bed and into class. Student Video -- Peter: I moved on-campus
about halfway through last year. I was looking for somewhere to be comfortable that would
allow me to focus on studying. I hadn't realised that I could get involved in so many things
on-campus. From playing netball to doing mediation classes to volunteering a lot for some of
the events that take place on-campus. I consider myself really lucky I fell on my feet when
I came here, it's just brilliant! So first, let us welcome you to our Toowoomba
Campus. With 3 unique Residential colleges to choose
from, you're sure to find something that suits you. Plus if you like, you can go home in
the holidays without continuing to pay rent. Worth mentioning, if you're studying online,
some programs will require you to visit campus for practical exercises. The Residential Colleges
make it easy to find a place to rest your head.
Our Springfield Campus is no different and it's a convenient option being part of Springfield's
'Education City' precinct. Right next door to campus is the Education
City Residential Village offering fully-furnished, self-catering apartments.
If you're a Fraser Coast or distance student, or if you'd just prefer to live off-campus,
we can help you find private rental, share accommodation or other student housing. Of
course, you can always choose to find your own accommodation. Whatever you choose, if
you have any trouble, we can always lend a hand.
USQ's Welfare Officers are looking out for your... urr... welfare.
As well as accommodation, we can help you with managing your finances, budgeting, and
accessing financial assistance. Remember, no matter where you choose to live,
your Welfare Officer's front door is always open.
