Hey! My name is Kyle Hodge and today I am going to be explaining to you how to un-install
and install motherboards. Don't be intimidated by all the cables, the plugs, the CD's and
manuals that you find inside of this case. Everything has perfectly good use and once
you get the hang of it, you will see that it is all very easy to figure out. The user
guide. It lets you know all the specific functions that your motherboard has to offer. First
I am going to explain these funny looking cables. They are used to attach DVD, CD Rom
drives, possibly hard disks drives and floppy, so that is what these are used for. These
red cables are for attaching a serial ATA hard drive to your motherboard. If you are
using a serial ATA hard drive to your motherboard, then set these aside for later. This is a
back plate. This gets installed in the case itself before you install the motherboard.
It has all the right holes and all the right places for your motherboard to fit nicely
in the back and prevent a lot of dust from getting in once you have your system set up.
Depending on the motherboard that you have, it may come with additional pieces to install
as well. These pieces typically can be installed in the back where any extra PCI slots are
available. For instance in this demo, I have an extra fire wire for it, some used and some
other various things. If you have any questions, refer to your user manual on the specifics
for your motherboard.
