What's up guys, it's BeastOfMiddleEast.
And I'm pretty frustrated, saw something really frustrating at the gym today.
Anyway, this guy tried to deadlift three plates. That's
like 315lb and I didn't think he'd pull it, but uh - he pulled it. Except his upper back
was literally like that. And uh - when you have your back like that and you have 315lb
pulling you downwards - you just broke your sh**. You just broke your back. God, that's
not even the frustrating part, he tried to do 4 plates. Seriously guys, if your form
is like that doing that weight - you're supposed to be thinking okay i'm gonna take down the
weight, not the opposite. Uhm - this is why so many people tell you deadlifts is dangerous,
deadlifts is bad for your back, blah blah blah. No, stupidity is the reason why all
these people get injured. And form over anything. Quality over quantity. Don't let your ego
win, cause once that happens - bizarre will come right after. I mean, see I understand
if you wanna challenge yourself and push it and do heavy weight. I mean I would understand
if your form is a bit off, if you wanna pull heavy weight. That's fine, but when your form
is completely off drop the weight. Don't even attempt, don't let your ego win. Don't let
people around you make you feel like you're weak. Everyone starts somewhere remember that.
Focus on your form, concentrate when you're doing the exercise. You really don't' wanna
hurt yourself. There are people who get really bad injuries and that stops them from working
out for a couple of weeks, couple of months, even sometimes a couple of years. And sometimes
for the rest of their lives. So be careful. Weight is not a competition, the real competition
is you pulling more weight over time, slowly with perfect form. Deadlifts do not break
your back, it's your ego, your stupidity. Subscribe, comment below. Let me know what
you guys think of this topic and if you have any stories to share leave your comments below.
BeastOfMiddleEast - Out.
