Hi. Today, I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies.
The first tip to making chewy cookies is to use brown sugar. Brown sugar also gives them a nice flavor.
The second tip is to not over-bake them. If it's your fist time making them, bake one as a test cookie.
Mix the room temperature butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the egg.
Add flour and mix well.
Add chocolate chips. You can also add nuts or caramel toffee if you want.
Make pingpong size balls.(They're about 25g-30g) If your dough is too soft, please chill it in the fridge for 30 mins to an hour.
Place them onto the parchment paper and bake them at 350°F(175℃) for about 10 mins or until the edges are nicely browned.
Rest on the oven tray for 5 to 10 mins :)
