bjbj|:|: u0qW On this episode of Ecorazzi s Good Gossip, Ryan Reynolds s and Scarlett
Johansson s new documentary, MTV Teen Choice Awards goes green, and a famous figure moves
into an eco dream house. Hi, I m Whitney Lauritsen, and welcome to the latest episode of Ecorazzi
s Good Gossip, where you can get the scoop without feeling guilty. There s a heartwarming
trailer for Ryan Reynolds s and Scarlett Johansson s documentary called The Whale . It sets up
the story of a community struggling to help an orca who got separated from his family
when he was young. This whale is so incredibly cute. He goes up to boaters and just begs
for attention like a little lost puppy. The latest Planet of the Apes film, and yes there
is another one, it s called The Rise of the Planet of the Apes and it stars James Franco.
This film is getting a lot of praise from animal advocates because of its use of computer-generated
apes instead of live apes. This is a major improvement from the original because the
apes look much more realistic and a lot less creepy. The MTV Teen Choice Awards will be
partially powered by bicycle this year! Yep, you heard that right! Volunteers will pedal
40 stationary bikes to power generators and help offset the massive award show. Cyclist
who generate the most power will be awarded prizes such as a new bike. Who knew that motivating
people to help the planet would be that simple? Why didn t I think of that? Turtle Island
Foods, creature of the popular plant-based product Tofurky, announced plans to build
a 10 million dollar eco-friendly plant which will be solar powered, high efficiency, and
will even have its own electric car charging station. And you know this probably means
that they ll be making more of their delicious meat alternatives like their pepperoni pizza
and their Italian sausage. (sigh) Mmmm so good! Oh my gosh maybe they ll have tours
with free samples! (gasp) That s not the only eco-building in the news. There s a new accessory
for the eco-conscious Barbie lover. You can now move her into a sustainable Malibu dream
house fixed with a low-flow toilet, energy efficient light bulbs, and bamboo flooring.
come on now Mattel. We all know that if Barbie was a true environmentalist, she d be living
in a yurt somewhere near Boulder, Colorado. Okay, fine, I ll admit I think it s really
cool and now I want a Malibu dream house! If you ve been enjoying this good gossip series
