Hello, I'm Megan and I'm a proud graduate of the University of Denver
class of 2006. My DU degree has opened so many doors for me
today I'm founder and CEO of Hot Tot Children's Hair Care.
And I'm Mawulke Yebuah, I'm a sophomore majoring in International Business.
I'm hoping my DU education will help me realise my dream
to help minority students obtain an education. Earning a career enhancing degree
was only part of the reason I enrolled at DU.
I also knew that I would make lifelong friends and share experiences with a
community of inspired and inspiring people.
It's true, DU students go on to live lives of amazing creativity and purpose
they're good people to know. That's why we're here today
to introduce you to the Pioneer Network, a new tool for getting in touch
and staying in touch, with people who can connect you to great memories and new
possibilities.
What does that mean for someone like me who is getting started on a career path?
Well, I can use the Pioneer Network to locate potential mentors
in the field I want to pursue. Who knows it might even lead to a good job!
And I can use the Pioneer Network to reach out to my former professors
for some advice on a job challenge or for help locating great new talent
for my company. I can also use it to touch base with old friends.
The possibilities are endless. The Pioneer Network can help you find
DU graduates in the city or country you're about to visit.
Someone to meet for lunch and the lowdown on life in a different setting.
Or you can use the Pioneer Network to forge new partnerships. Say you're looking
for collaboration on a promising new project, who better to consult with than a
Pioneer.
So how does the Pioneer Network work? Just log on to the Pioneer Network site using
your LinkedIn credential.
Once you're logged in you can frame your search in a number of different ways,
