Hi. Welcome to Contrasons. I'm Ivan and the man hiding and filming is Javi.
Today we'll travel to Belfast via Brooklyn and Chicago.
We start with a project I knew a few days ago from a Function Operate compilation, a
Brooklyn based label with quite interesting proposals between synth pop, EBM and dark
electronics. Their name is Light Vision and the track is Di Vulsia
We continue through Chicago with a trio born in 2008. They sound as the most naked indie
rock with psychedelia touch and here we maybe should talk about a certain krautrock rhythm.
Some months ago the edited an EP that included this track.
The song we propose is Incognito and the band is Pool Holograph
We finish in Belfast with a project I knew via the label which publishes bands such as
Girl Names, Sea Pinks or Cloud Nothings. It is a project about which I cannot say a ***.
The only I do know about them is that I like their music. The label is CF Records. Thay
are so generous and lovely. Last year's San Valentine they gave us an EP as a present.
They are called Charles Hurts / Hello Translinks and our favourite track is Blue Romace
Here finishes this week's Contrasons. We remember you that these cute overprinted squared names
are links to the recommended songs. We hope you discover some gems.
See you next week.
