Hi everyone welcome to this barefoot tutorial in the snow
Im brucy the barefoot runner I am almost 64 and almost a pensioner
The reason I do barefoot running, I have been running for many years
About 7 years ago I noticed that I was getting more and more injuries to feet and
Hips etc. I studied this and found out the reason was that running in trainers you
Impact the ground with 3 times your body weight, which is why a lot of runners,
And marathon runners get serious injuries. I am going to put my gloves on now, because
you will find out that when you run in In the snow the blood rushes to your feet
and the extremities, so what you really Want is a good hat, good lip salve and good
gloves. These are nice conditions for running today,
out here. The big thing is and the purpose of bare foot
running is injury free running that is Very important to know. Because when you run
with trainers every time you do a Heel strike its proven that three times the
body weight hits the earth, causing damage to tendons, achilees, knees and all sorts
of joints and that is obviously a real big problem. As I said when I started
barefoot running after my research I have not had any injuries at all since the,
and that of course was really important for me. And direct evidence to me for the
technique of barefoot running. The good thing about barefoot running is that
you could all the good feeling of the s Sport of running, the fitness etc. but you
can enjoy it injury free. When people are younger and running with trainers
on, every time they hit the ground with a heel strike they impact the body negatively
so later on in life Unfortunately their will be a payback and
this is what happened to me. If you do your research, you will see that’s
the case. The thing about barefoot running is that when you start, you cannot
just start running, if you go out in the snow barefoot, you will see that in a minute
or two, you will have real difficulties with your feet, there are techniques, the
first thing is that you use an entirely different set of muscles
so you have to make sure that those muscles are prepared and ready for barefoot
running. Hope you are enjoying this tutorial.
