Hey internet, what's up? So welcome back for the second time to my incredibly messy bedroom
that I haven't been bothered to clean since the last time I posted a video. I'm not very
good at applying myself to tasks. So I know that we're all familiar with the concept and
idea of 'first world problems'. First world problems are kind of like things that we in
a modern day society experience on a day to day basis. They're sort of like modern day
pet hates. In fact, the Urban Dictionary defines 'first world problems' as: "Problems from
living in a wealthy, industrialized nation that third-worlders would probably roll their
eyes at." One of the examples listed of a first world problem is this: "Aw, crap. I
don't know which one karat diamond-encrusted platinum ring to buy." Yeah, things like that.
So maybe the rest of us aren't quite that privileged, but I'm sure you all know what
I'm talking about. So today I thought that I'd flip the tables a little bit and talk
about things that we as modern day 21st-century... ers, experience on a day-to-day basis that
actually just make our day that little bit better. And I don't think people give these
things enough credit, so I'm gonna talk about them and bring them to your attention. And
hopefully by the end of this video, maybe you'll be a little bit more appreciative of
the small things that just make your day that little bit better every single day. So here
we go. One of my favourite First World Pleasures is waking up in the morning and realising
that you don't have to be anywhere. Unfortunately for a lot of you watching this probably doesn't
happen to you very often, since you might still be in school. Maybe that will just make
you a little bit more appreciative of the days where you can actually wake up, look
at your phone and think 'hm, I don't have anywhere to be today. I haven't school, I
haven't got work, so you know what, I'm just gonna go back to sleep.' Another really big
one for me personally is that feeling when you get out of the shower, get dressed and
then walk out of the bathroom and for like an hour or two afterwards, you just feel so
clean. I really don't know if anybody else experiences that, but I do. Opening the fridge
and seeing it full of awesome food, it just... It's hard to beat that one, you know? That
feeling of satisfaction after you take a really good dump. Nah, I'm kidding! I don't know
about you guys but when I buy stuff online, like when I buy clothes, or a beanie or, I
don't know, something else. I spend the next week or two like waiting in anticipation for
it to arrive in the mail. I'll go up and check the mailbox like three times a day, and every
single time that I walk up there, I get a little bit more excited with each step, and
then when it doesn't arrive I just feel crushed. So that is kind of a first world problem,
I guess. But when your package finally does arrive it's like Mini Christmas. For me, anyway.
Having fresh sheets on your bed. That is a good one. You know when like you check your
bank account on pay day and you see this enormous number that actually isn't really that big
but it feels big to you, and as soon as you see the number on the screen you just feel
like the richest man in the world. Maybe it's not quite like that but you feel pretty good
when you have money. So that was just a really small collection of things that really just
make my day that little bit better. And maybe you experience some of them, so maybe in the
comments below put some of the things that make you ridiculously happy. And, uh, yeah.
So once again, don't forget to subscribe to my channel. And also give this video a really
big thumbs up, because I only have two thumbs and that's not enough. Also I want to say
a really big thank you to the people who subscribed to me since my last video. You guys are awesome,
thanks so much. And yeah, I'll see you next week. Bye!
