Hey, everyone, I'm Kayla from Yup Video and today I'm going to talk with you about script
writing. When producing a video, one of the key elements is the script. Most people think
that the longer the script or the video is, the better - which isn't the case at all.
For the best conversion rates, you really want to keep your video at two minutes or
less, which only gives you - at most - 360 words to win your viewers over. So, they must
be chosen carefully. There are a couple different routes you can
take when writing a script. First, is a sales script. They usually begin with a bunch of
questions like, "Are you tired of staring at the blank document trying to write a script?
"Would a professional script writer be an asset to your company?"
Believe it or not, many people are moving away from sales scripts. More and more, people
are getting the explainer videos. The script usually begins with "Meet Joe, John, or Jane."
And they sell their product through Joe, John, or Jane's experience. This makes it easy for
people to relate. Lastly are the branding scripts. You try to
relay the message you can be trusted and share the same beliefs as your viewers do. When
writing a script, it is essential for you to build an emotional response with your viewers.
Below are examples of these scripts. Thanks for watching! See you next week.
