"5 questions to..." episode #1.
Hi my dears, it's Tamara, Macademian Girl.
I'm starting a project which I've been trying to get down to doing for quite some time now.
You've been pushing me on my blog to start my own youtube channel and start recording for you.
It's always been mainly about tutorials, you know, make-up, hairstyles...
It's always been mainly about tutorials, you know, make-up, hairstyles...
Oh, wait... Blimey... OK...:)
To get to know you somehow and to get myself going I have decided to start with a "five questions to..." programme.
These questions may refer to my opinions concerning a certain topic, or just to me.
Just ask! I'm not saying I'll answer all of them, but I can always try to. Um...
Someone is drilling...
Oh no, we have to wait...zzzz...3 hours later...We're filming the vlog..zzzz...What's going on, I always have this kind of bad luck.
And now a man with a driller won't leave us in peace....
.....Yeaaaaah!
Besides from the obvious "WTF?" question, when one goes to my blog for the first time and gets flooded by all the colors,
accessories, toques....and one is like "What's going on?", the first question one usually asks is....
#1 Do you really dress like this on daily basis?
Or, the question that follows is: "What do you wear when you go to get bread? That? Really?"
Yes. As strange as it may seem, that's how I look on daily basis. This is how I go to get bread...
Well, actually usually I go to get bread... Oh, wait, I don't eat bread... Well, I go shopping for food, when I'm coming back from somewhere;
from the post and so on... I'm actually really busy out in the town the whole days.
My motto is: life's too short and too valuable to care about the opinions of others.
Well, of course there are some matters in which it's important to have some humility, and to listen to others,
but I think that these matters should be really important, like I don't know, education, choosing a profession or a life-time soulmate,
when you have a good friend to give you some advice, why not? But not when it comes to matters that result from your personality...
If you want to resemble a Christmas Tree in your outfit, , why not? Let yourself!
The world's not gonna end because of that, but you will gain a lot by being real and loyal to yourselves.
Question #2. How do people react when they see you in the street?
You know what... If I were to care if someone looks behind after me on the street, whistles or laughs or does something else...
I remember that one time when three guys in tracksuits commented on me: "Hey, mate, that's Lady Gaga!"
"You... Seriously.."
Well, that happens as well.
If I were to care I think I would never leave my house. My mom sometimes says that I walk as if I was behind a window pane,
because I don't see what's happening next to me. Maybe that's the way to deal with it?
Question number 3, namely the worst nightmare of every artist, in this case being the blogger is:
#3: What inspires you?
To be honest, they all come from this small, crazy but yet creative head.
I don't spend hours wondering whether a particular dress matches a particular top ,
it's patterns and cuts that matter for me the most. Aaand... The rix is meady...
Oh, noo... the mix is ready, hahahaha ;))
What you see on me is a total mix of everything I see around me, my of Art School experience, of the things that I see in the street, in the
magazines, on the tv, in the music videos, which contain dozens of crazy, daring outfits, which not everyone would agree to wear on
daily basis. The pictures I serve you on the blog consist of a mixture of what I see in all these media.
Question #4, namely the favorite question of every blogger: "Aren't you cold in the winter and hot in the summer?"
Dearies, it's time for me to tell you my biggest secret. As I'm a professional, it really takes a lot of of time for me to complete a look,
pick appropriate elements and find a suitable timing to do the photoshoot. Therefore the pictures posted on the blog are usually taken
one month in advance. So I like to be prepared.
Before you see what I'm currently wearing on the blog, averagely a month passes by, and everyne who follows me on Instagram knows
about it. Don't worry if there's minus 20 degrees outside and I'm to be seen in a
tropical outfit resembling the ones worn in the last Miami Vice episode.
Yes, maybe the weather was like that then, or maybe I was standing next to a ventilator, or maybe I was having the pictures taken next
to a shopping centre equiped with an air curtain?
Anyway, don't treat the pictures in such a serious way. Think of them as of an inspiration, something to what you can refer in your own style.
Question #5. Why is it that you don't smile?
The thing that I don't smile results only from the fact, that...Mmm, can you see this installation over here? Railway tracks...
Just by trial and error it occured that my smile and the lipsticks I adore just don't add up.
They make me look a bit like a Polish version of Ugly Betty, so until I have the braces taken off, there's a little chance for you to see me
with a full smile on the blog... but you certainly will get a chance to see it on Youtube!
And that's how we've come to an end of today's movie, I warmly encourage you to comment on it, to ask your questions below

Don't be a sly old fox and give the colorful (and crazy) one a SUB :)
