Hey, and welcome to
"Clan War - Tactics"!
Jeah!
"Clan War - Tactics" is all about
how to successfully attack in clan wars.
We will explain to you the best tactics
and show them in game.
Of course
this is all about the two most important
clan war modes: blasting and seizure.
Each episode will cover one map
with the best tactics for it.
We'll rotate our coverage
of the two modes on a weekly basis.
This time we'll provide you
with the best knowledge you need for the next episodes.
Important for tactics to work
is assigning different roles
to the players of your team.
The Caller has no very active role
during the match but is mainly supporting the others.
He acts as the main authority within the team.
He decides which tactics to use in each round,
based on the results and experiences from the last one.
Therefore it's very important to follow his instructions
to avoid confusion and disorder.
The Opener plays an important role
in rushes, pushes or peeks.
Cause he needs a very short response time
he role is usually taken by the player
who has the mouse with the highest dpi rate.
Of course the player also has
to be good at aiming for this to work.
Therefore he's usually the "brute force" guy,
directly at the front and tends to be
the number 1 or 2 in the ranking.
The supporter uses a lower dpi rate for his mouse
and provides some kind of covering fire
the opener and the sniper.
He tries to analyse the enemy and foresee his actions.
He also keeps an eye
on his own team to warn his teammates
about possible mistakes.
As already mentioned:
his role and the one of the Caller
are usually taken by the same guy.
The sniper can
-- providing that he's competent --
cover whole lanes and exits on his own.
In addition to being highly accurate
he also has to to be able to assess
his teammates and their actions.
He usually uses hardscope
only to put pressure on the enemy team.
Quickscoping and other forms of sniping
are unusual in clan wars.
