Welcome to my new tutorial!!!
First up open your internet browser and google emuparadise.
Click on the first result...
Now you'll see a column to the left of your screen. Once there find "Hosted EP"...
And click on "Emulators Section".
Click "Sony Playstation".
Select your operating system (note that this tutorial is for windows...)
Now choose the first emulator (a complete epsxe 1.6.0)...
...and click to its name to download it.
Once again go to the playstation emulators...
and now select " enhanched psx emulator (epsxe) 1.7.0"
Since we've already downloaded an emulator why do we need a second one? You will see why.
Now create a folder on your desktop....
...and extract the contents of epsxe170.rar onto that folder.
As for epsxe160_full.rar extract the folder inside it to the desktop.
Here's the deal. Emuparadise has a complete epsxe 1.6.0 to download..
...but epsxe 1.7.0 is the latest and greatest version of our beloved emulator.
So we're gonna cut the whole folders "plugins" and "bios" from epsxe 1.6.0 folder....
...to the one we extracted epsxe 1.7.0.
The folders will merge with those of epsxe 1.7.0 so press "Yes".
Go into the bios folder..
...and delete a file named "erase.me".
Go to the plugins folder...
...and delete a file named "remove.me"
now back to your browser, google "pete's psx gpu plugins"...
...and click on the first link.
We 're gonna download the "Pete's OpenGl2 PSX GPU Version 2.9" (it's a graphics plugin)...
and quest(r)'s shader collection.
Open and extract the graphics plugin to your desktop..
..then cut the extracted files fom desktop...
to your plugins folder.
Hit the first one "replace".
Open quest(r)'s shader collection...
...and extract the files in it to the shaders folder, whic is in the plugins folder.
If we try to run epsxe...
..a message will come out to inform us that zlib1.dll file is missing.So...
...we just have to google this file (zlib1.dll)
Click the first link..
...go where ts says Free Download...(The grey box)
and hit download.
click "Download zlib1.dll"..
..and then extract it to the folder which contains epsxe1.7.0.
That's it!! Epsxe is successfully installed.
On the next video we will configure it so that it can run perfectly to your pc....
as well as take a look to several features of epsxe 1.7.0 which can enhance the quality of graphics..
..to make games look even better than the original Playstation console.
See ya!!!
