Hi! I'm Danny Ramirez from Tampa, Florida on behalf of Expert Village. I will be showing
you how to maintain and use a drill press. Okay now I will be talking about why would
you use a drill press instead of a regular drill. You typically want to use a drill press
if you are cutting into something that needs to be completely straight. Like usually metal
work, you want to use a drill press. Then after you are drilling, you can run a tack
through there so that everything will come out perfectly straight. If you are doing more
precise stuff, fabrication, you typically are going to want to use a drill press to
make sure it is right on. With the hand drill, you might not be exact and it will throw things
off. So if you want to make sure it is perfect, you want to use a drill press.
