Open the Aquarium picture
Select the image and copy it to the clipboard
Paste the image into the new layer
Change the opacity so we can see the window image beneath

Once everyone is clear of the windows set the opacity back to 100%
Now anchor the image
Turn the opacity back down again
Now we are going to use the paths tool to select the windows
Press and hold the Shift key and Left Click to add to the selection, note the cursor changes to a small square if you are doing it right
Press and hold Left Mouse button for more control
Once you've finsihed we need to invert the selection and then add a Layer Mask
Using the brush tool you can now use black to reveal the lower layer, white to conceal it
Sliding th eopacity back up will let you check that you've got all the bits.
Now to cut out the various objects on the windowsill
As we are going to work inside the window frames we need to turn off the selection
You can quickly change brush size with the [ ] keys
If you go over the lines and reveal grass don't worry as it's easily fixed
Painting in white restores the water layer :)
Be sure to leave the inside of the scissor handle as water
Same applies to the hole in the cardboard
Tidy up before moving on by switching between black and white brushes.
Make sure there are no 'halos' of colour
This will take a minute....
By pressing the spacebar you can move around the screen really easily
Now to fix the glasses so you can see water behind them
Lets see how it looks so far
There are some edges in the window frames to tidy up but we are nearly done
Change the opacity back down to make it easier to see what is going on
Straight lines are easy, just left click once at your start point, release the mouse then press and hold shift
Left click again to finish the line
Don't forget to make the water layer 100% opaque
Well Done!
