Perhaps a lot of you, when you listen to music, feel that the rhytm of the song is so intense
that you whished you could actually play the music yourself Well, there are games designed for that!
You probably heard of Guitar Hero a famous game where your objective is not only to listen,
but play the music.
There are even special guitar-like controllers that make the game even more fun.
However, it does cost money. And that's a problem for some of us...
Don't worry! Today I'm going to show you an open-source alternative
(that means it's totally free!) that I believe is just as popular as Guitar Hero.
The game is Frets on Fire. There's not much to talk about this game,
because you get used to it pretty fast. Frets on Fire is packed with 3 default songs,
but there are thousands of downloadable songs on
different difficulties on the internet.
Just google something like "frets on fire songs".
The game features a funny tutorial...
ehmm.. let me show you.
Ah yes, I know, I'm amazing!
Ah, that was cool!
Hello everyone! My name is *too long to write it here :D*
And today I will show you how to play this game.
Check this sh*t!
Now pick up the keyboard like this.
And when I shred,
I use the whole keyboard.
But since you suck,
You will only need these 5 frets,
and the pick button.
However,
the most important is the escape button.
You will need it
when you finally realise that you suck.
So yeah, it's pretty basic: you hold your keyboard in a guitar-like position,
hold your fingers on the frets (which by default are the f 1 to 5 keys)
and one finger on the pick button, which is enter!
So, I'm not too good at this, I'll show a basic example in one of the default songs.
(I already downloaded more songs
but they are more difficult than this..
ehhh... don't wanna be embarassed :) you know...).
Here's a pro tip a friend told me: Set your fret keys on the number keys, not the function keys
(and by that I mean the numbers under the function keys).
Also, instead of keeping your 4 fingers (because with one you have to hold the keyboard)
on the 1,2,3 and 4, keep them on 2,3,4,5. It's easier to change from 1 to 2
than from 4 to 5 ;).
...
I forgot to tell you that the game also features But I prefer downloading them from the
internet, it's not very simple to make a Frets on Fire playable song because you need different tracks
for the guitar, the background and that sort of stuff, of stuff,
and they need to be in the OGG vorbis format.

Thats's about all I can say about this game. Enjoy it, have fun, and don't destroy your keyboard!
