Today, on our 2011 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing Hidden Hitch, part number 90214.
Now, before we begin our installation, here's what your hitch will look like on the vehicle.
We'll go ahead and give you a few measurements to help you in selecting accessories such
as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch bin hole to the outermost
part of the bumper is four and a half inches, and from the top of the receiver tube to the
ground is 11 inches. Now, let's go ahead with our install. To begin the installation, we'll
need to remove the plastic appearance panel which covers the trunk pan.
Now, you can either trim this panel or not reinstall it. It's your choice. You'll need
to remove the series of 10-millimeter head bolts as well as the push pins. Finally, remove
the plastic fasteners to get your appearance panel down. Now that the appearance panel
is out of the way, we'll need to remove the plastic plugs from the existing weld nuts
that we'll use to
mount our hitch.
