JAYNE ENTWISTLE: I'm Jayne Entwistle with ExpertVillage.com. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: And
once again, I'm Andrew Stubblefield. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: And we are learning some vocal
warmups to get us ready to do improv. So the first thing I want you to do is a funny little
thing that I call "Library Lion." You know, those lions you see out front of the library,
it goes just like this. Okay, why do we do these things, I don't know but they help us
do improv. And now we're going to do some things called "Resonators" and this is going
to look funny, but I guarantee you this is a great way to get you warmed up. The first
thing is you're going to start down way in your belly and you're going to make this go
like wooh, ooh, aah sound. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Wooh, ooh, aah. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Wooh, ooh,
aah. Really low. Wooh, ooh. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Wooh, ooh. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Okay? And now
I want you to go to your chest and you're going to *** on your chest. You're going
to make this aaahhhh. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Aaahhhh. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: I have a microphone
on I'm not going to *** but... ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Aaahhhh. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: ...Andrew can do
it. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Aaahhhh. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Great. Now, you're going to pretend like you
have angry bees in your mouth and you're going to make this sound. Mmmmmmm. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD:
Mmmmmmm. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Should really tickle in your lips and in your nose. Mmmmmmm. ANDREW
STUBBLEFIELD: Mmmmmmm. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Now you're going to go to the top of your head
and you're going to make a really high Kiiiiii. And you feel like kinda buzzed up there. Kiiiii.
Tongue down to the mouth. Mmmmmmm. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Mmmmmmm. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Chest.
ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Aaahhhh. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Stomach. Wooh, ooh, aah ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD:
Wooh, ooh, aah. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Okay, so those were our resonators.
