For me, he's a leader, an example.
For me, he's one of the best players in the world.
He's a key person and player both for Barça and for the national team.
I'd say he's been the best midfielder Barça has ever had.
On a footballing level, he's privileged because he's always ahead of the play, ahead of what's happening.
He's a very different player. He makes things look easy. He sees passes that only he sees.
He gets the whole team playing, and moving from one side to the other as he likes.
I think he's the brains of the team. He always gives it balance.
He never loses the ball. It's very hard for him to lose the ball.
We'd had five very difficult years at Barça. Perhaps I'd say that.
We were saying that this couldn't be, that a team like Barcelona couldn't go so long without winning anything.
But luckily things changed, and we've won a lot of titles with this team.
Perhaps to pick one moment, the final in Rome.
That final, both for him and for me, it was very satisfying to win it.
I think it's difficult to pick any one moment. So many games, so many things, so many years playing.
But a nice moment was when we went to the Ballon d'Or gala, and I got to go there for all that, and so did Andrés.
Hey, 'Pelo'. First of all congratulations on 700 games.
Like I said, Barça has never had a midfielder like you, a player like you.
For everything you have done and the way you feel this club's colours.
I'd encourage you to continue. I think you can still play lots more games. And if you
can get to one thousand. That's a nice number.
Well, 'Maki'. Congratulations. It's crazy, so many games we 've had. Let's hopes there
are many more, because you do so well for us, for the people, it's a pleasure.
He's an example for me, for all the players from the youth teams
trying to get into the first team.
It's been a privilege for me to be by his side for my whole career practically.
And I hope there's still more time for us to continue together.
