Hello my names Jonathan Rolande and I'm here on behalf of House Buy Fast to answer questions
provided by Zoopla.co.uk. I've got one here from chilled as can be, will my estate agent
tell me the name of the person who has made an offer, or will they just confirm it in
writing that an offer has been made? Well actually you should get, you're quite right
you should get something in writing to confirm the offer, that would be the amount they offered,
any other terms, such as any delay they've particularly requested and also hopefully
their circumstances, so are they are they first time buyer or cash, something like that.
You should also get their name, it's important that you do because if you ever decide to
sell with another estate agent it could be a second estate agent introduces that buyer
and you want to make sure that you aren't liable to pay two commissions if that situation
does arise, so do ask your estate agent to clarify the full details of the offer, including
the name of applicant. I hope that helps and good luck, I hope the sale goes through for
you.
