Hi, my name's Dave Schoeneck we're here in the Wasatch beautiful Wasatch Mountains of
Utah. Here to talk about adaptive sports and how snowshoeing can fit in with a lot of people’s
adaptive life. Well snowshoeing has been around for thousands of years and this it's really
involved into some pretty high tech equipment but it's an awful lot of fun and some of the
equipment like anything it makes it a little bit easier and so what we're going to talk
about is just kind of getting started with snowshoeing. With adaptive snowshoeing kind
of one-o-one. Statistics show that only that only thirty six percent of individuals with
disabilities are getting regular exorcise and you don't need to be in a gym. You can
really find some really fun things to do to get that exorcise and here's a perfect case
in point is you get up into the beautiful mountains and you go for a walk or a jog or
whatever level you want to do this at but if we can increase that number that will obviously
will help you with a lot of other health issues. That we all deal with on a day to day basis.
This is really trying to stay healthy and you feel better and you have more energy right
down the line.
