Liz Bucci: Hey, Binghamton, it’s Liz. I’m here in the Newing Community. Let’s take
a look at what it has to offer its students. Maxim Penarskiy: I really like it here. There’s
a unique culture about the place that I really enjoy. Newing students bond together in their
own special way that’s a little different from the way other communities may bond. There
are a whole bunch of events that take place throughout the year that allow us all to communicate
and have fun together. Jessica Franklin: We have a good mix of traditions
and events that we come up with. One of the traditions we have is Autumn Bowl. In the
fall, we have a lot of activities and it’s just a way to bring all of the buildings together,
especially the new residents. Mary Werner: I think the best thing about
Newing is that we’re really a really tight community.
Jacob Dorfman: Newing is a lot of fun. Newing is a great place to meet a lot of people at
just have a really fun time. Michael Ulanski: I would say Newing is extraordinary,
just ‘cause it’s awesome and it’s a great place to live. We’re gonna have a
new community next year, three new buildings. It’s gonna be same old traditions, just
newer and better, so Newing is extraordinary. Max: I think the fact that it’s not too
far away from the rest of the campus is a big plus. There is, I mean there is a culture
here that’s kind of difficult to put into words that brings people in. It’s one of
the first communities to have been built on campus and that draws people in, definitely.
Cari Snider: Newing is exciting, it’s nice, it’s going to be brand new soon. I think
it’s like the best place to live on campus.
