This video shows you how to make sure the HP Digital Imaging Monitor is running.
In this video we will use a mouse to select items. If you are using a touch-screen computer
you will tap the selection whenever the video says click.
From your computer, go to the Desktop. If you are at the Start screen, click the lower
left corner of your screen. If the software is running, you will see the
HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon in the System Tray on the lower-right corner of your computer
screen. If you don't see the icon in the System Tray,
and an up arrow appears at the left side of the tray, click the arrow to see if the icon
has been hidden. Then click Customize.
Click the drop-down menu to the right of the HP Digital Imaging Monitor, and select "Show
icon and notifications." Click OK. If you don't see the icon in the System Tray,
or as a hidden icon, you'll need to activate the HP Digital Imaging Monitor. Right-click
the lower left corner of the computer screen to open the menu.
Click Search. In the search box, type Task Manager.
From the results, click Task Manager. Click More details.
Click the Sartup tab. Search the list for the HP Digital Imaging
Monitor. If it is not in the list, the driver was not correctly installed, or a custom install
was used. In this case, you'll need to reinstall the software.
If you find the HP Digital Imaging Monitor in the list and its status is Disabled, click
the title to highlight it. Then click the Enable button on the bottom right of the window.
Restart your computer by moving your mouse to the lower right of the screen to bring
up the charms bar. Click Settings.
Click Power, and then click Restart. After your computer restarts, the HP Digital
Imaging Monitor will be in your System Tray. You can find additional helpful videos at
