WELL, WHEN YOU COME INTO A TRADEMARK HOME IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE EVERY OTHER HOME OUT THERE.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS AND HOW YOU REALLY WORK WITH PEOPLE TO MAKE IT UNIQUE.
A LOT OF IT IS JUST LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE AN IMAGE IN
THEIR HEAD THAT THEY WANT TO GET OUT ON PAPER AND THEY WANT IT TO BE BUILT THAT WAY SO A
LOT OF TIMES IT'S JUST TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN TO THEM, GIVE SOME IDEAS BUT REALLY LISTEN TO THEM.
GIVING THE CUSTOMER SOMETHING UNIQUE FROM THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE, NOT MAYBE JUST
IN FINISHES BUT IN DESIGN AND LITTLE CUSTOM TOUCHES, BIG CUSTOM TOUCHES,
ANYTHING THAT SOMEONE COULD THINK OF WE'LL GIVE IT A SHOT AND TRY TO MAKE IT WHAT THEY EXACTLY WANT.
AND WHAT ARE SOME OF THE QUESTIONS THAT YOU ASK PEOPLE WHEN YOU'RE GETTING STARTED.
OF COURSE, THERE'S THE SQUARE FOOTAGE, THE NUMBER OF BEDROOMS.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS YOU TALK ABOUT?
WELL, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ONE OF THE BIG THINGS IS WHAT KIND OF STYLE.
PEOPLE SOMETIMES DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT KIND OF STYLE THEY WANT TO HAVE,
SO MAYBE THEY WANT TO HAVE A WAY THAT THE MASTER BEDROOM HAS A VIEW OUT THE BACK OR
THEY WANT THE MASTER TUB UP FRONT. SOME THINGS LIKE THAT. AND WE'LL START WITH THAT.
AND THEN EVEN GETTING DOWN IN THE LOWER LEVELS, DO THEY WANT TO HAVE BIG BARS,
LITTLE BARS, THEATERS, THOSE KINDS OF THINGS. SO THERE'S, THE LIST COULD GO ON FOREVER.
SO YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE A SET STYLE?
NO. IT'S KIND OF FUN BECAUSE I THINK WE REALLY, LIKE, TRY TO GO OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE AT TIMES TOO.
WITH THIS HOUSE, YEAH, WE CALL IT KIND OF A MODERN FARMHOUSE WHERE IT'S GOT A VERY
CONTEMPORARY FEEL ON THE INSIDE BUT WE'VE ACTUALLY MIXED IT IN WITH SOME 120-YEAR-OLD BARN WOOD
ON THE OUTSIDE AND THE INSIDE. IT KIND OF GAVE IT A WARMER, CONTEMPORARY FEEL BECAUSE THAT
CAN FEEL A LITTLE BIT COLD, BUT WE LOVE IT. IT TURNED OUT GREAT.
AND WHEN IT COMES TO ALL OF THESE DETAILS,
HOW DO YOU HELP YOUR HOMEOWNERS MAKE SOME OF THOSE DECISIONS ON THOSE SPECIFIC THINGS?
YOU KNOW, WE HAVE A DESIGN COORDINATOR THAT WORKS JUST TIRELESSLY WITH YOU TO MAKE SURE
THAT ALL THOSE LITTLE FINE DETAILS ARE PICKED OUT AND THAT YOU GET A CHANCE TO LOOK AT WHAT

YOU'VE DONE SOME THINGS TO STREAMLINE THE PROCESS AND REALLY KEEP THE HOMEOWNERS INFORMED ALONG THE WAY.
WE ACTUALLY USE A SOFTWARE PROGRAM AND THEY'VE GOT AN APP THAT THEY CAN PUT ON THEIR PHONE
AND IT'S BASICALLY INSTANTANEOUS INFORMATION, FEEDBACK FOR THEM. SO WHETHER IT'S THEIR
BUDGET THEY'RE WORRIED ABOUT, THE SCHEDULE, PICTURES, SPEC SHEETS, PLANS, ALL THAT KIND OF STUFF.
THEY'LL ALWAYS KNOW WHERE THEY'RE AT WITH THEIR BUDGET. THEY DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT.
AND THEN, ALSO, THE SCHEDULES. THEY CAN LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE AND
SEE WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPENING EVERY DAY.

SO IT SOUNDS LIKE COMMUNICATION IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOU'RE GOING BEYOND JUST
THE PHONE CALLS AND THE E-MAILS, YOU'RE TAKING IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL.
WE'RE TRYING TO GIVE THEM EVERYTHING THEY CAN SO THAT THEY HAD FUN DURING THE BUILD.
THAT THEY WANT TO DO IT AGAIN AND THEY WANT TO COME BACK TO US TO DO IT AGAIN.

AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE, OF COURSE, OUR CONSTRUCTION TEAM THAT IS IN THE FIELD EVERY DAY AND
MANAGING AND CLEANING AND ALL THAT TO GIVE THEM JUST REALLY ENJOYABLE BUILD EXPERIENCE.
