Hey I'm Adam Nelson and on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to be showing you how to
take apart a paintball gun and then explain the parts inside the paintball gun. The first
thing you want to look for is the silver part back here ... now this is a piranha, and it's
pretty similar to variable popular mid level guns, the spider, as you can see it's in the
same spot. What I'm going to show you is this one, because it's easier. You take it from
this side push it in pull it out make sure you don’t lose that and then everything
comes out usually like so.
Now, the first thing we're going to do is add a spring. What the spring does is add
to the velocity that determines how far your paintball shot will go. What you want to do
is put it in here, take this and put it in like so. After that we're going to take the
caulking ram, slide it in like so, then we'll take the striker. This is the part that when
you pull the trigger will allow the shot to fire. You're going to add that on the spring,
as you can see it doesn't go on all the way, so what we need to do is take this little
guy right here. It's going to go in like so.
As you can see there is a hole for this to go through like that, also hold it through
here, this has to be lined up even with this hole. Now that I've put it all back together
it's ready to go back inside the gun. The main part where you want to hold it when you're
putting it back in the gun is right where you put that pin to connect both of them together.
The last step, see this little button right here, you push this in so it pulls that part
in the gun down so you can push everything in and then once you get everything in, make
sure you hold it so the string doesn't push it back out. Then you just push this back
in.
