Arizona's Governor, Jan Brewer has vetoed the religious freedom bill which could have
been used to support LGBT discrimination.
She said that the bill had "the potential to create more problems that it purports to
solve.'
A US Federal Judge struck down Texas' gay marriage ban yesterday.
Judge Orlando Garcia cited a Supreme Court ruling, declaring the ban unconstitutional.
The Chinese Gay-Straight Alliance posted 3000 letters on Monday, to leaders of the National
People's Congress, calling for marriage equality.
The letters from students in Guanzhou form part of an ongoing campaign by activist Liang
Wenhui.
Organisers of the Russian Open Games are persevering despite suffering a bomb scare and venue cancellations.
Greg Louganis even had to hold a press conference in a car park with journalists and Russian
TV.
And finally, HBO’s new gay drama series, Looking, has been picked up for a second season.
British actor Russell Tovey, along with Lauren Weedman and Raúl Castillo will all become
series regulars.
