Hi, I'm Trevor Bending from OpticsPlanet. I'm here to talk to you about the OPMOD Bi-Modular
Sling Bag. Now, this is a miniature sling bag, and it's perfect for on the go.
And one of the coolest features
about this sling bag, this strap can very easily be transitioned
from a right hand into a left hand carry
just by unclipping the buckle right here, switching it to the other side. It also has a
support strap
so it's perfect if you're jogging or even on a bike,
you can switch your support strap just as easily as well. You've got a cellphone case, it can
hold up to quite a large cellphone. It's on MOLLE strips so it's all
movable. So I keep it down here,
or I can move it up.
Also on the strap, you have an additional pocket for anything you might need to
throw in there. Now the main portion of the bag - it's got a little bit size to it,
perfect for holding clothes for a day, any small articles at all. Organized as well, so I have pockets
in here that are both zippered
VELCRO closed,
lot of storage in the main compartment by itself.
Now on the front of it, you have a lower pocket with organization and then a main
compartment as well. Pens, notepads, anything can be stored in here. Now this
top pocket, something really cool about it, can actually be removed completely from
the bag,
and there's a strap on the back, and it can actually be used as a waist pack.
And once removed, it exposes MOLLE on the front so you can hang
any other MOLLE accessory - case, organizer - that you may need on it as
well. Water bottle pocket on the side, once again, with MOLLE to hang anything
on there that you might need to. The back has two zippers so I can access it both
right and left handed.
Now once I unzip this, it
exposes a small VELCRO patch with a retention strap. So you put something in the
retention strap, have it concealed away, hidden away so no one knows it's there,
and you can have it concealed and access it from either side because you have those dual
zippers on there. A very nice feature of the OPMOD MCS Bag design is that
they're all modular.
As I said, this top pouch can actually come off, come completely unzipped,
and it can be used as a waist pack by itself.
But on the Tri-Sling Bag right here, I can also take
this pouch off and I can interchange them if need be.
They both come in black and the coyote color,
and also on our briefcase design.
Now one of the things that I like to do, say if I'm going camping, I know my first
aid kit is always gonna be in the black minisling section, so I know if it's on
a waist pack, I can unzip it, take it with me if I'm just going on a day hike. But I
always know that for whatever reason, this black bag is always going to contain my first aid
supplies. So if I want to use my Tri-Sling for a day, instead of just having to
switch all the components - unzip that, zip that back on there, I know I have all my
essentials that I need, and I can switch it from my Tri-Sling, the Bi-Modular,
down to the briefcase style. So really cool design with the OPMOD MCS
Modular Bag design. You can find all these at OpticsPlanet.com. I'm Trevor Bending,
thanks for watching.
