To embed items, HTML items, into the new blackboard at CWI we simply needs to come into the HTML
button. I'm going tto show you how to do this on this prezi here. I can and grab this embed
code, come into my text editor, and come into this HTML button. I would then paste the HTML
code and click update. There is a yellow box displaying here that shows that my prezi has
been embedded. Let me add a title to this. I will not get to see my prezi until I hit
submit but I also want to produce a link to any embedded document with a YouTube video
or a prezi so that my students can see if the prezi doesn't display they will have a
hyperlink to refer to. I'm going to come back into my prezi, here is my prezi url so I'm
going to copy this. I'm back into blackboard and then paste my code. And
I need to turn this into a hyperlink so I highlight the text, come up to the insert
edit link, and I'm going to paste the URL to my prezi in the link path and I need to
make sure that the target is set to open in new window. And then I can insert, now you
can see that this is an active hyperlink and I can click the submit button now. Here is
that prezi and here is that hyperlink node is active because when I use my mouse cursor
turns into a hand instead of pointer that will allow me to click on it and come directly
into that link. That is is how we use embed codes in new blackboard everything will center
around your text editor, all HTML code needs to come through this HTML code button.
