Hello Tequileando Friends welcome to the Quinta Sauza Bar
Today we are making a Jamaica (hibiscus) Tequini with red wine and rose petal syrup. JOIN ME!
To make this drink we are going to need:
2oz of Añejo 100% agave Tequila
2oz of cold Jamaica Tea
1 1/2 oz of Rose Petal Syrup You can make this at home with two rose infussion
tea, mixed with sugar until you get the syrup, let it cool.
and 1oz of Red wine, to add tannins and wood to our jamaica flavor
we begin adding our Cold jamaica tea
next we add the Añejo Tequila
an ounce of red wine
our rose petal syrup
and we add the ice, about 5 or 6 icebues to cool it.
we shake for about 15 to 20 seconds
and we serve
to decorate we can put a pineapple leaf with some orange rose petals to contrast
You can use this tequini to freshen up at the beginning of a meal
also i recommend it to go along with main dish, because of the red wine and the añejo
tequila the wood flavor on the tequila with red wine
helps to stand out the tannins on the jamaica tea we soften it our rose petal syrup.. SALUD!
