March 23rd, 2012, marks the two-year anniversary of the Health Care Law. Already, millions
of American families are being helped by new benefits like a new Patient’s Bill of Rights,
free preventive care for women and children, prescription drug discounts for seniors, tax
credits for small business owners, and the ability for many young people to stay on their
parents’ insurance until their 26th birthday. That’s what this law is about. It’s about
real Americans and their health security. It’s about your care and “My-Care”.
We’ve collected a few powerful stories from around the country of people who have already
been helped by the law. I’ve been moved by them, and I think you will be too. They’re
one of the best ways we have to communicate with people about how the law can help them
and their families. So I hope you’ll help share these stories
and perhaps take the time to tell your own story too. Tell us what “My-Care” means
to you. Thank you.
