Hello. It's my first video in French because I would really like to improve my French!
So, I'd like to listen to this video to know if I'm making progress in French (or not!).
I'm also doing it to show you my daily habits and perspectives on French life,
Especially in the Paris region because it's where I live and work.
Here I am near Sentier Metro. I'm passing a stationery store which sells pens, papers (of course), things for drawing, artists and writers...notebooks "Voila".
I'm passing a phone booth...there aren't very many of these now because everyone has a cell phone.
I'm passing in front of a large blue door (duh).
Voila, there are a lot of motorcycles because they're more practical than a car here in Paris.
Here are all the smokers because they can't smoke in their offices. "We're wating for our friends" (nonsense!)
This is really difficult, I don't know what to talk about!! But...
I'm walking and showing the things I see with this little video camera.
This makes me really sad because I really like this mosaic mural. There's graffiti, or rather tagging.
Grafitti doesn't bother me when it is well done such as the artists, "pochette" - CORRECTION it's "pochoiristes" (stencil artists) or stickers which are stuck walls and are easily removed.
There's a bus but I also see a curious looking car. What is it? Looks like an electric car.
I don't know but it's cute (there's a little skeleton in the window. I don't know what it is.
There are some workers with their blue "costumes" (uniforms) which reminds me of the expression "blue collar worker" in English.
So here's "super clean and pretty" Paris. There's a rack of clothes and something falling from the sky.
There's a clothing store or maybe storage, distribution or headquarters (siège!!) for a clothing company.
Here's a work site and all the materials. I don't know if France has the same problem as America with theft from construction sites.
Oh, look at the motorcycles! You see, I imagine it's not expensive to travel like that.
We're very close to the stock exchange
You can see the columns, Lady Justice statue (which I don't think you can see).
I have to cross quickly...
So there it was, a little look into my daily life (made a mistake there at the end, x_x)
