Welcome back to Silly Chely. Today I thought we would do something a little different and
make something geared more for a guy gift or a car enthusiasts gift, or maybe someone
who is into classic cars or has a project car. Or who recently got a new car or plans
to get a new car. Maybe it's their birthday or Christmas, or whatever is going on, and
you need to get a gift and you just don't know what else to get. So, here's some ideas
of how to put together a car gift basket for someone on your shopping list. First you want
to start with some sort of basket or organizer: a trunk organizer or something like that and
just fill it with whatever you think is appropriate. You could fill it with things like fluids:
windshield wiper (oops) windshield washer fluid, water, oil, those kind of things. You
could add some rags or an emergency roadside kit, maybe even some tools, a flashlight,
or jumper cables. Things like rope if they may be hauling some stuff, or tie-downs if
this is for someone who has a truck. Maybe something for the interior, like some scothgard
or leather protectant or conditioner, screen wipes if they have a touchscreen or any other
electronic devices that will need to be wiped down like their radio. Lint rollers are good,
especially if you have cloth interior, an umbrella is a good idea, too. Soft cloths
that are good for polishing, like for the interior, the dash. Even car wash accessories,
like the super absorbent towels, cleansing mitts, shammys, soaps, tire washes, glass
cleaner, those kind of things are always good too. Some microfiber towels for the glass
that are smudge free and don't leave any kind of lines are nice. Might even think of polish
or wax. Kleenexes are always a good thing to have, even paper towels or napkins are
good to keep in the car. These are small so they fit right in the glove box or console,
out of the way. Wet wipes or baby wipes, things like that are really good also. First aid
kit, or Band-Aids, maybe even a little med kit, if you know you have someone that frequently
has an upset stomach or headache and they take ibuprofen or pepto or tums or something
regularly, you can have a little kit with some travel packs of those items in there.
Oh, this is cool, if you have electronic devices, this is a grippy pad that will keep your cell
phone, money and things from sliding around, so that's a kind of neat little thing. There's
lots of cool electronic gizmos that you can get at the auto parts store, chargers for
cell phones or tablets, anything like that, head phones, Bluetooth. And air freshener
is good, especially if you can get the new car smell (that's awesome). Also the little
hula dolls, or the little necklaces that hang from the mirror. Or auto shades to protect
from the sun. Any of the little decorative touches. You can also get a license plate
frame. Or some decals to put on the back window or some bumper stickers or something along
those lines to make it a little more personal to the person you are purchasing for. Just
really use your imagination, think about what makes things convenient for you in your car
- put it all together, put a bow on it and there ya go. It's really simple and can be
a lot of fun. And the person receiving the gift I am sure will really appreciate and
use it. So it's not just a fun gift, it's also very practical. Thanks for watching.

you guys with another craft project pretty soon. Thanks.
