I'm Henry and this is John.
Thank you very much for coming here today.
I want to talk just a little bit about what were doing.
We wanted to make sure that as we do this, we do it with a great sense of
positivity. Today is about listening between us and sharing those great
things and we will be talking about things you have not solved that
maybe the group can help with.
MUSIC DROWNS SPEECH GENERAL CONFERENCE NOISE
I really enjoyed it, it was a good opportunity to meet
with other people and to share their best ideas.
I think that the more that people are listened to across the country
and the more it is spread across the country then people will start
on mass to move forwards.

The pupils really get motivated by food and I have seen, through teaching it,
that they get really excited by it. It's a skill for life, cooking it
and then eating it obviously gives them energy for the classrooms.
It was nice to see everyone else's views on food in schools.
We got to get some ideas from the school here and we are going to
take those back and try some things I think from there.
MUSIC DROWNS SPEECH GENERAL CONFERENCE NOISE
I really enjoyed learning about how people are dealing with breakfasts,
what offer they are doing, how they are integrating
it into the curriculum and ideas for students to get involved.
We have taken some of the ideas, we have moved food on.
It's very important for us at our school, but we are at a point
where we now need to move to the next stage, so this is really
reinvigorated us and wants us to move forward and take us into new ideas
and new avenues.
It's better than being a lecture. It felt we have been involved in it, which is good.
I think it's been one of the best things that we have done this year -
to get involved in school food and to make it a higher priority
in our school.
There is a tipping point in which people will say 'I want to be
involved, why am I not there?'
I would encourage everyone to come.
