This is a close look at the HD90 Pen Camera from PenRecorderPro.com. This pen takes video
in a true HD 720P widescreen format at 30 frames per second. Many pen cameras on the
market claim to be HD quality, however, most of these pens use a process called "interpolation"
to artificially upscale the quality to look like HD. Let's go ahead and look at some video
samples from this pen. K, here's a sample video of the HD90 camera pen. I'm just standing
in the parking lot of the office building where our business is located, and I'm just
going to give you a panaram here. In the lower right hand corner of the video, you should
see a time/date stamp, and the time and date should be Friday, October 12th, 2012. I've
got 2:39PM on my watch as the time. I'm just going to walk into the building here and show
you the adjustment of the lighting condition inside the building. When you initially walk
in, it's going to be a little bit darker and you'll see the lens adjust the brightness
to the darker lighting condition. I'm holding the pen about a foot away from my mouth and
this will give you a good idea of the audio quality of the camera as well. I'm just going
to show you a little bit in the entry way. It is a little bit darker in here, and I'll
show you down this hallway. We've got some yellowish tinted lights here in the hallway.
Alright, hope you enjoyed the sample! I hope that those video samples were helpful. The
pen is sleek, durable and professional looking. It also does function as a real pen - just
twist the bottom and the ink comes out. The camera is located just above the pen clip.
You can easily clip this on a shirt pocket, put in a cup holder, or place anywhere you'd
like. The on/off button is located on the top and blends nicely into the design of the
pen. On the backside, there are two holes: this bottom hole is a reset hole. If the pen
were ever to freeze or malfunction, you can stick the tip of a pin or paper clip in here
to reset it. This top hole is an indicator light hole. When you first turn the pen on,
the light will come on to show the recording has started but then turns off for the remainder
of recording. The pen has three operating modes: There's a video mode, audio only mode,
and photo mode. Right now the pen is in video mode. Let's go ahead and start recording a
video. To turn the pen on, push and hold on the button for 2-3 seconds. The light will
come on an orangeish-blue color while the pen is loading. It will flash a solid orange
color and then blink twice blue. After the light turns off, the pen is now recording.
The light indicator won't come on while the pen is recording. When you're finished, just
push and hold down the button on the top of the pen until you see the yellow light come
on. When it turns off, release the button. The pen is now off. Each time you start and
stop recording, a new video file is created on the pen. There are no cables or software
needed to transfer the recordings from the pen onto a computer. Just take the pen apart
and it turns into a USB drive. You can plug this in directly into any Mac or Windows computer
to instantly view or transfer your recordings to the computer. A huge benefit of this pen
is it has removable memory. The SD card slides right into the pen. All your recordings are
stored right on the SD card. On this side, we have the mode switch. When it's in position
2, it's in video mode. In position 1, it's audio only and photo mode. The pen has a built-in
rechargeable lithium-ion battery. You can plug this pen into your computer's USB port
to charge, or you can purchase one of our additional charging accessories. We have found
that the typical camera pen gets between 60 and 80 minutes of battery life of recording
video. This pen gets about 70 minutes. In audio only mode, you can get up to 9 hours
of record time on one charge. That's a close look at the HD90 Pen Camera. You can purchase
one of these today at PenRecorderPro.com
