SHIVANI SINGHVI: I'm Shivani, on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, I'm going to
tell you how to make Gram Flour Parathas, also known as Besan Parathas. Now let's begin,
the gram flour parathas, we add some salt to dry gram flour, some red chilli powder,
a couple of cumin seeds, some dry carom powder, dry coriander powder, and finally, coriander
leaves. A few drops of oil, and few drops of water. We mix it nicely, there you go.
Now, we take some kneaded dough, roll it, like this, put some dry flour, with the rolling
pin start rolling. Spread it nicely, with a drop of oil on the spread, and the kneaded
dough, nicely spread. Seal the flour, apply some dry flour and with the rolling pin start
rolling. Let it spread out nicely and now, put it on a nice, hot pan with drop of oil.
Use
a cooking spoon, change the side of the paratha. You keep roasting the paratha, until it turns
nice, brown and red. And once, it's ready put a drop of butter on top of it and this
is how it's going to look. Mmmm...now, doesn't that look yummy?
