The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a nationally recognised award which prepares
you to start teaching or training adults. The most important thing you'll do is attend
one of our focussed 4-day courses which are taught by or team of education and training
experts. You'll gain from their knowledge and experience as they guide you through the
process of learning and qualifying. On the course you'll be busy learning and
putting into practice your new teaching skills, as well as getting to grips with some of the
ways to plan and evaluate your own teaching. We'll show you how to put together and teach
great lessons, as well as giving you the chance to practice teaching under the watchful eyes
of our tutors. As well as the practical side of planning,
teaching and assessing which takes place during the course you'll also be taught how to select
and use the best teaching techniques for your learners. To complement this you'll cover
some of the theory of how people learn best, how to make sure your teaching is inclusive,
and how to apply the best teaching methods to your subject area.
All this will enable you to complete some theory work which forms part of the assessment
process of the course. Most people complete this theory work after the 4-day course and
then send it to us online in order to complete and qualify. The amount of work needed to
complete this varies but is typically 8 to 12 hours. While doing this you'll still be
guided by your tutor who is on hand by phone and online to support you and help you get
the hang of what you need to do. To find out more call us on 0845 299 4049

where you can find more details about the course and how it can help you.
