Hi this is Ruchi on behalf of Expert Village. He's just half way through with the flower.
And just left chain stitches happening on the petals of the flower. This motif is a
traditional motif which we have used from the Gujarat famous embroidery. Zari work originated
in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Basically their cultures are very same. So Gujarat and Rajasthan
have the famous work like the mirror work which we have done in the center and the Zari
work as well. Zari work is mostly popular with mirror work and Gotapathi work and it
can be mixed with today's embroidery which can be done as fusion as well with pearls
and all. But basically, traditionally it was used with mirror work. Now as you can see
he's done with the inner circle. Now he's outlining the outer most circle with a chain
stitch. And then we'll fill this gap with straight lines. And the center of it will
be done with a layer of chain stitch only as the same you can see.
