Our graduate program is unique because we offer competitive, excellent resources and
concentration in teaching, research, learning, and service on topics relevant to Deaf people
all in one location. Many of our graduate programs offer outstanding opportunities for
practicum, internship activities and graduate assistantship activities. As you can see behind
me in this class, Literary Applications in ASL/English Bilingual Classrooms, students
are actively engaged in discussion and interactive hands on experiences to advance their research
and learning. Our faculty are distinguished leaders in their
fields and provide excellent mentoring for our graduate students as they develop as professionals.
Graduate students often identify career opportunities through the extensive network that our faculty
and staff have developed over the years with professionals nationwide who remain connected
to Gallaudet.
