Twitter is a micro blogging service which allows you simply to answer the question ‘What
am I doing’ it achieves this by short blasts of information called ‘Tweets’ and these
can only be 140 characters long. Twitter is massively important for business’
especially at the moment as marketing trends have changed, what worked then doesn’t necessarily
work now, social media isn’t going anywhere and the amount of people on Twitter is staggering
so if you’re not on there and your competitors are, that’s who your clients, or possible
clients are talking too. The first top twitter tip is to be interactive,
it’s very important to talk to people on Twitter, it’s very easy to send out endless
marketing tweets but if you don’t talk to anyone you’re never going to strike up a
relationship. The second top tip is on Twitter is to be
consistent, you have to make yourself an invaluable resource, make sure that people keep coming
back to you because they know you’ll have something important to say
