Hi everyone, this is Choicerish or aka Chihiro
Yesterday I went to the 100 Yen store and they had a lot of makeup
I stopped by my local Daiso and I was surprised by the amount of false lashes and the variety of cosmetics
I didn't do any research before hand so I wasn't sure what was good or popular
So I just picked up the products with cute packaging
I went to the store yesterday and mentioned it on facebook
There were people who were worried about the products because you're going to put on your face
and that's also a reason why I never put my hands on them till now
but they're cheap and some were recommended on @cosme so I didn't mind if they up being a miss
So I'd like to show you what I picked up and possibly a quick review also
I have a feelings it's going to be a long video so do make yourselves at home (I split it into 2 parts)
When I walked into the store, the false lashes stood out and I picked up these two
this one is Oshare Tsukematsuge short and straight in #14 and
#7 Straight and they both come with eyelash adhesive
These must be pretty popular because I saw them when I was in middle school and high school
Some more lashes! I didn't know they had lower lashes!
it's hard to reuse them don't you think
I bought these natural looking ones
this is what they look like~
They had many eyeshadow palettes like the ones you can find overseas
I only bought this one from Elfa Pearl in Eye Shadow in Natural brown
I think this palette had a pretty good review on @Cosme
it's got 4 colours, a highlight, 2 main colors and a darker shade so you can easily create a look with this
I received a comment on Facebook from someone saying "I use this palette a lot"
so I think this just may be an amazing product
From the swatches, the pigmentation is amazing and even though it's called a pearl shadow
they could be worn with natural looks
I'll make a tutorial with this! there's also an applicator so it's handy for those who don't own any brushes!
I also got 2 eyeliners
this one is Elfa's liquid eyeliner in black
and Elfa's eyeliner pencil in brown
the packaging looks pretty cool and doesn't look like 100 yen at all!
it's the felt tip type
it's a pretty pigmented black
and the brush is resilient too
I think you'd be able to easily draw a winged liner with this
the eyeliner has an extra refill of the lead
I've never seen a refill with the product even with Drug store products!
Pencil's tend to run out easily and because this is retractable
we don't have to sharpen it with a sharpener so that's good
they also had black but I chose brown
here's the color payoff
Maybe I can use it on my brows too.. the pencil isn't that soft
but it can be smudged so I think it will be easy to use!
I also picked up some mascara, a base coat and a normal mascara
the packaging is really cute
this is the base coat and it's white
I don't think there are any fibres in here
I wonder if it goes transparent one you apply it...
" Is suitable to long wear and allows mascara application smoother"
"Recommended for practiced users and can be used in a 3 step process of Base coat, mascara and top coat"
It doesn't mention about fibre anywhere
I wonder if it creates more volume because it makes mascara application smoother...
and this is from the same line and it's the volume mascara. I think they also had a lengthening mascara and a curl mascara if I remember correctly
I prefer volume over length so I went ahead and got that
The packaging is pink and I have a feeling the comb is pretty large compared to my eye
I think the base wand was pretty large too and if you compare, the base wand is larger than the mascara wand
Seems like this has fibres in it!
"Coats every lash creating volume for the impact look"
"For those who lack in the lash department"
Just because it's 100yen it's not like the packaging looks cheap and the product itself look pretty decent
The quality seem so be like the ones sold at drug stores
they look pretty good
and this looked pretty interesting and it prevents from getting mascara around your eyes
I saw somebody using this in their video
Guard your lids and then apply mascara
with this you don't have to worry about accidentally getting it on your lids
and it has a comb by the handle so if your lashes clump up you can comb them out
they're pretty smart
"The product allows you to apply mascara without getting it on your skin"
"The product fits the eye well because it's shaped like an eye"
It doesn't feel unnatural so it was easy to use
and it also has a comb so you can brush out any clumps
amazing
they had 2~3 different products for the brows
I got this one because it said on the package "soft touch" so I assumed that the pencil is soft
it doesn't mention anything on how to use the product, just the cautions
the packaging looks fancy with the gold letters
the colour is... it's not that soft
It ain't coming out!
ow.. I wonder if it's dried out
I wonder if I'm using it wrong.. You have to draw firmly to get some colour
argh! the lead broke!
I think this is a miss..
maybe i'm using it wrong but the pencil is too hard
I'll sharpen it later to see if it does any better
I also bought an eyebrow powder
this also had a couple of shade available
This has a lot written on the back of the package
"Apply the dark shade from the beginning of the brow to the arch..."
"use the lighter colour from the arch to the end of your brows using the applicator"
"then use the brush to blend for natural looking brows"
it's interested how they want you to make your brows darker at the beginning and lighter at the ends
the packaging is pretty simple and it comes with a brush and applicator
the colours look like this, sorry that I'm swatching with my fingers
the pigmentation isn't that great so maybe if I layer this a couple times it will give me natural looking brows
I'd like to use this sometime too!
to be continued...
