Now I've got my hacky sack ready, I've got my decal on the inside so that when we're
done sewing, we're going to flip it inside out, it will then be on the outside. I've
got my large knitting needle with my string attached and my knot at the end and now you're
ready to start sewing your hacky sack together. You want to line up your edges and if you
have a little bit of a frayed edge, that's ok because it's going to be in the inside
when we're all done. You're going to slide your needle through so that it goes through
both sides, both pieces of fabric, and you're just going to pull it all the way through
until you hit that knot. Pull it nice and tight. You want to do a cross stitch so that
it runs across the top of your fabric. We've gone through here, when I pull it back over,
it's going to pull through and seal the end of the fabric. So, I'm going to come back
over the top, to the same place I was, and just to the side of it, I'm going to push
through, I'm going to pull that string back through and it's going to pull that loop,
right here, it's going to pull the fabric shut. You're going to continue doing that
all the way around your fabric until you have three quarters of the way done and you have
a lip of an opening. Once you get to that point, we'll be ready to move onto the next
step. Just continue stitching your hacky sack closed.
