We are commonly asked this question:
Aren't there pressure points under the discs?
This is a great question that we're asked often.
The panels are designed NOT to translate a direct pressure point.
What does that mean?
Let's show you.
We are going to have our helper put her hand on this saddle stand.
The back of the hand is quite sensitive to pressure.
Carmi intends to put as much of her body weight as she can muster
Onto the back of Shana's hand.
Because this is a sensitive structure, Carmi informs Shana to let her know if it hurts.
If there is any pain at all, Carmi wants to be told so she can stop.
We put the side of the panel designed to be against the horse on Shana's hand and Carmi applies as much pressure as she can.
She asks Shana, "Does it hurt", and the answer is "No!"
Carmi asks, "What do you feel?
I feel a smooth pressure (and your horse will, too!)
