Um... hei.
Yeah, so, I'm Norway.
Or "Norge", as I'm called in my own language.
I have been asked before to describe what some words sound like in Norwegian
And to do so is annoying,
because you'll never understand what it sounds like anyway.
And so I decided to make a video,
so you can hear what it sounds like for yourselves.
And so here is what you have to do:
Send in words or sentences or really anything
that you want to hear me say or do.
The words and sentences can be things that you've read in Norwegian
and want to hear pronounced.
Or they can be things in English or another language
that you want to hear translated and spoken in Norwegian.
...Or they can be things in your own language
that you want to hear read in a "Norwegian accent".
Eh... for instance
the English word...
"plant".
If I were to read that in a "Norwegian accent",
Without thinking that it's actually English,
I would say "plant".
Yeah, like that, "plant".
And I'll start off by telling you how to pronounce the other Nordics' names.
My brother Iceland, is "Island", in Norwegian. "Island".
Sweden is "Sverige". "Sverige".
And Finland is "Finland". Yeah, not so different. "Finland".
And Denmark is "Danmark". "Danmark".
The annoying.
