Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we're going to make what we call a stuffed
Cajun swamp log. Now we're going to go back to our bell pepper that we charred and put
it in the bag to steam. We had this in the plastic wrap it helped the steaming process
so you just want to take it out of there
and some of the peel comes right off. Sometimes not all the way but no big deal because even
the char part is really tasty. But you can just go like this with your knife and just
kind of scrape it. You can even use a vegetable peeler on it and go loosely around it. Just
take some of the skin off
you should smell this it's a great extra step rather than just putting in the bell pepper.
You can take more time with it if you like but you get the general idea then I just like
to split it down lengthwise and then you can just pull out this whole seed pod all at once
just like this.
Again, no big deal there but you just want to cut this and about the same size pieces
that you did like the other veggies it keeps it all uniform and it cooks uniformly too,
so I like to go this way and just right across you are going to have a nice dice bell pepper.
