Hi it's Andrew from MH, this time we're going to be talking about objectives that you should
set yourself when attending an event or exhibition. It's very important that when you make that
investment, that you have some key targets, that you are looking to achieve when you attend.
For us, we've already selected the event that is right for us, so we know the target audience
is correct and is going to put us in front of a large number of people that have a need
for our product or service. What we're looking to do is to pick up as many new contacts as
we can. Obviously new contacts that have a need for what we do. We're also looking to
get ourselves infront of existing customers. It's an opportunity to meet clients that you've
been dealing with over several years that you may not have face to face contact with
regualary, it's a good opportunity to take the time to meet with them.
It's also a good objective if you have sales targets on the stand, so if you're selling
anything on the stand then have a sales target in mind before you start.
Then Takeaways from the event. What you might be looking to do, there might be a sale opportunity,
there may not initially be a requirement but if somebody takes away a flyer, a brochure
or even a pen with your name on it hwen they do have a need then hopefully there's some
recognition in the future. Thank you.
