Hey this is Phil Coonrod on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden
08. Alright so once I finished filling in all my starters, actually what I did was I
hit start and simulated the rest of the draft. There is 50 some odd rounds to the draft,
and it takes forever. After about the 25th round, you've never really heard of anyone
left anyway. Just let the computer fill in your back up players, or if you want to try
to find a few young guys to get maybe a trade for a bigger guy, that's a possibility you
can do too. It gets really time consuming once you get passed the 25th round or so.
We're just going to take a look at what we got. You'll notice we went in to the draft.
We got our lock down corner straight away, and we got our tackle. That's going to be
our blind side tackle, and a d-tackle and our wide receiver, our four best players.
And those are probably the four positions that I like to have my best players at. I
like to have a lock down cornerstone tackle that'll play for you forever. He's only 26.
He'll probably play until he's darn near 40. I got the young d-tackle. He's already great,
and I got my deep threat. So I feel really good about my four picks, and I went and got
another tackle. Shored my line up. You see my offensive line, I spent let's see here,
I've got all my offensive line in the first ten rounds. I feel really good about that.
Having a great offensive line is going to be absolutely crucial to my team. Especially
with me getting quarterback in such a late round. You just got to be focused. Figure
out what you want the emphasis of your team to be, and just shore up your lines. Your
lines make the world go round. That is basically how you, how I would suggest to do a fantasy
draft.
