- So one of the reasons you moved back to Los Angeles
is because "Project Greenlight" is--you have offices here now.
Right? - Well, we do, yeah.
Ben and I--once he won the Best Picture Oscar,
we figured we should probably, like, get furniture
for our offices and stuff. - Uh-huh.
- So, yeah, and it was kind of a chance to--
to be here for more of that stuff.
- Yeah. And you're doing some-- and you're producing a movie
based on something that you care a lot about.
This is this water.org Is that the name of it?
- Oh, well, water.org is the foundation that I co-founded
about six or seven years ago, and--but no.
This movie is unrelated.
This movie is a movie about the water crisis
that we just sold to HBO that we're really excited about.
- Oh. But what a great and important movie
that we need to all--we should-- we need to see that immediately
because we all need to figure out what we're gonna do.
- Yeah, yeah. Without a doubt.
And, well, that was, yeah, one of the reasons I,
you know, started with water.org was every 20 seconds,
a kid dies because they lack access to clean water
and sanitation, which is really staggering
and we don't know about that in the west
because, you know, I mean, there's water everywhere.
- Right. - The kitchen sink's got
really good water for us. - Right.
- And we've never really been thirsty.
But for 800 million people, it's like an up at dawn siege
trying to figure out where they're going to scavenge
for clean water every day.
- And now they're making things that you just drop, like,
powder in it, and it instantly cleans water that--
it makes it drinkable, right?
- Yeah, there are a lot of different--
different filters and bottles
and different kind of solves for--
but it's an incredibly massive issue and really complicated.
So there's not really a magic bullet that will fix it.
- All right, so if you want to learn more about that,
you should go to water.org and learn how you can help
because that's obviously--we do need to know about these things.
So we're gonna maybe give you a chance to--
we'll donate $20,000 to water.org
if you'll do something for us.
You have daughters and they must know the Whip/Nae Nae, right?
- Definitely. - So...
- I don't really know the Whip and the Nae Nae,
but they definitely know the Whip and the Nae Nae.
- Well, it's not called the Whip and the Nae Nae.
- It's the Whip/Nae Nae. All right, there you go.
- I mean, yes. They're two--
- I went to the Gary Busey School of Dance
- Really?
Well, then you'll be perfect at this.
- All right, good. - There is a whip
and there is a nae nae, but it's the Whip/Nae Nae dance
combined. So we'll play the song.
And if you can do the Whip/Nae Nae,
and I'll be the judge if it's good enough.
- Wow, okay. - Yeah.
- Okay. - And if it is good enough,
chideo.com is a charity broadcast network
that's changing the way cause and entertainment come together
and they're prepared to give you the $20,000.
- That's great, that's awesome. - So if, you know--
- If...
[applause]
- I'm not saying I'll give it to you.
- All right.
But if I start to do this and it's not going well,
you might have to get up and do it with me.
- Oh, no. - Just saying.
- No. No. No.
Then I take away $10,000.
- So how does this work? Do I just stand up and--
- It's $20,000 if you do it by yourself.
$10,000 if I have to help you. - Oh, man. Okay.
- All right. - All right. All right.
[cheers and applause]
[singing] - Now watch me whip
- Kill it. - Now watch me nae nae.
- Okay. - Now watch me whip whip.
- Watch me nae nae. - That's all I know.
- Now watch me whip. - Kill it.
- Watch me nae nae. - Okay.
- Now watch me whip whip
Watch me nae nae - Can you do it?
- Now watch me Ooh watch me, watch me
Ooh watch me, watch me
Ooh watch me, watch me
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
- That's all I know.
[cheers and applause]
- "The Martian" opens in theaters this Friday.
